A pre-ride checklist worth five minutes
Five minutes at the shop is worth an hour on the roadside.
The bike
- Brakes and clutch feel.
- Tyres and pressure.
- Chain and sprockets.
- Lights and horn.
- Photograph existing damage.
The paperwork
- Bike documents present and with the bike.
- Rate, deposit and return time written down.
- A phone number that reaches someone if you have a problem.
